I love the Florida clouds and I miss them dearly. They were a source of inspiration for me, and since coming to California I haven't felt very creative or inspired photographically. That needed to change. So I bought a little bag that you can put your camera in and decided to go swimming with the waves in a little secluded beach just south of Laguna. The company promised their product would keep your camera completely dry. The package also said to "return if defective." One of the skim boarders that I passed said, "Dude, that looks pretty sketchy." I didn't disagree. Yet, I took the plunge, camera in hand and fingers crossed.
Once the incredible force of the Pacific undertow stripped the camera from my cavalier grip. When I got my bearings and resurfaced I saw my trusty tool floating about 20 feet off. Phew.
All in all, however, I ended up sore but relatively unscathed. And the camera stayed dry. Here are some of the results.
